Perfect Location with Ocean View
My family had a great stay at this property on Tybee Island. Could not have had a more convenient location. Steps from the ocean and close to restaurants and shopping. Having the pools and hot tub were nice when you were back from the ocean but still wanted to swim. The elevator up from the parking lot to the condo made love in/move out a breeze. Will look to stay again.

Nice with issues
The location and view were amazing. Condo was cute. First problem was the gate code was not listed in the same location as the check in information. Instead it was buried in a separate email. All codes should be in the same place. The primary bedroom TV did not work. When I messaged over they said to check behind the dresser for the cable box. When I did I found an old pair of underwear (still there - I did not touch someone else’s underwear). When I messaged owner about the underwear I never heard back. TV in primary never had cable, but the other rooms did. Otherwise very nice experience.

Carpet stains and mold smell
The property is an excellent spacious layout. Plenty of stocked items in the kitchen, clean towels and sheets. The problem is the old stained carpet and old couch. I think if the carpet issue was resolved by replacing with hard wood or new carpet it would be an excellent choice.

Thanksgiving family reunion
The condo was clean, roomy, comfortable, welcoming, and the gathering place for more of our family who were able to walk from their rentals to our location. We walked to the beach, the pier, the Christmas business street event Saturday, and to each other's rentals. The children's room was perfect (3 children). Parking is a pain, but we ended up appreciating the security the parking garage provided. We left bicycles out, and our door unlocked except at night. The balcony was wonderful, wish it hadn't been so cold or we would practically have lived out there.

When I arrived to the property the condo was not cleaned. Owner said she didn’t know it had been rented for 3 days before we came. Bathroom sink drain was plugged and took forever to empty making it very disgusting. Air conditioning unit on deck leaked a lot and the water puddled up right in front of the door you had to use to get to the deck causing either tracking of water or having to put towels down to clean it up all the time. It was full of mold on bottom of air conditioning unit and very dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Elevator was not working again!! Had to cart luggage and groceries up 3 floors.

Great location but checking in not so great
Very disappointed in the fact that directions told us go to a gate that was not working. I did not have a number to contact to find out how to get into the correct parking garage. Asked someone in the pool thank goodness was given directions on how to get to the right garage. THEN the elevator was not working. We are seniors! I mean not young and had to carry everything up three flights of stairs and then every time we went sent anywhere we had three flights of stairs to deal with. Cleanliness was okay. Could not enjoy the spacious balcony because the air conditioner sits on the balcony and is very loud. On the positive note, location to the beach was great,

We’re so sorry you described a difficult time getting in. In every single message we send we try to tell the guest to please download the copy of the VRBO welcome guide which gives all the details and phone numbers. This would have given you instructions on how to get into the unit. Unfortunately, we have no control over the elevators at the property. The elevator was being looked at when you arrived and was repaired as soon as parts were deliver a couple of days later.

ROACH infestation, dirty carpets and furniture
ROACHES! We noticed several on our move in day, in the bathroom and kitchen. I contacted the owner immediately with my concern of a roach infestation. Owner responded that they would contact the condo association, since it was their responsibilty. We kept our food sealed and avoided making any food in the unit. When I opened the dishwasher to put in a glass I found roaches inside the dishawasher and along the outside of the door . I took pictures of the roaches and immediately closed the door and ran a dishwasher cycle. Roaches fell to the floor and I killed as many as I could before they ran away. I sent the pic to the owner who responded in the afternoon and scheduled an exterminator for Monday. Monday morning I opened the dishwasher and again found roaches inside around and repeated process of running cycle and killing roaches. The exterminator (owner hired) came late Monday afternoon and sprayed. Exterminator said infestation should taper off in a few days. Almost immediately roaches started coming out from everywhere along the floors, kitchen, bathroom, living area and front hall. I can't believe this infestation wasn't mentioned by any past visitors, it didn't just happen the day we arrived. There were roaches of every size and life cycle stage. There were also many other items which made the stay unpleasant, dirty carpets, dirty uncomfortable couch, lack of seating, broken box frame in bedroom, loud leaky AC unit, plus others I'd list if there was space.

We enjoyed our stay! Condo was very nice and the balcony was amazing! It’s in perfect location. Close to pier and plenty of shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. The complex is older and pool did not have easy access but over all a great place to stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Tybee Island for our first time on the island. The condo was large with plenty of storage and seating. This is the first condo we have rented that had plenty of trash bags, dish and laundry detergent for the whole stay. The unit is older but well maintained. The complex is nice and we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. One of the mattresses needs replacing, it is obviously worn and uneven. However, for the price compared to other units in the complex/area, minor issues like that can be overlooked.

Seaside sunrise
This location proved to be perfect for our family. This condo is steps to the beach and pool. Close to the pier, shopping, and dining. We walked down to the pier to catch the sunrise the first morning and then realized the view is perfect from the condo’s balcony- no need to wake the kiddos. Very family friendly so if you have kids the pool is perfect for making friends and splashing about. If you don’t have kids, be warned there will be splashing and giggling. The condo itself was nicely furnished and had working appliances, including a very much needed and appreciated washer and dryer.

Great location
Over all the condo was nice. The handle on balcony door was broken, and wouldn’t pull door shut. WI-FI code had been changed, but wasn’t updated on check in instructions. the walk in gate codes were not the same as on instructions. Had to get from a resident. There is no property manager, so that info was wrong also.

Victoria, did you print the check in instructions and welcome guide? It seems you didn't look at the information provided by VRBO. We double checked all the gate codes given and they are correct. They change each month, but we have listed the whole year's codes for each guest so there's no missed dates. We also checked the wifi and that password and ID are correct. Lastly, there is a manager. We communicated with you on lane closures and other items during your stay. We provide two cell phone numbers for every guest should anything need our attention.

Location! Location! Location!
Excellent location with a great view of the ocean. Property needs some upkeep. Door to balcony from living space broke. Elevator didn’t work after the first day. Towel bar in master bath come off the wall. Couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. Only very small frying pan to cook with. It wouldn’t take much to make this place a super nice rental. Just needs a little TLC.

Horrible management
The property is in a great location close to beach and shops and restaurant. The place is big and roomy with great views. However the management company is not reliable. The place had not been cleaned yet. The owner did make right on that quickly. The pool And hot tub area were locked up every day we only managed to get in one day after complaining even though I complained daily. We were there to celebrate Christmas with family and had lots to bring up to 3 floor and the elevator was not working upon arrival. After complaining it was fixed by day 2 though. When renting may want to ask about maintenance issues first to be sure all is good

We do apologize on the issues you encountered during your stay. I wanted to clarify for anyone reading this that you mean the condo association management, not the manager for this condo when you speak of poor management. We don't control the elevators or the pool area. We only control our unit. Every single time we spoke, I followed it up with a call to the condo association. It was unfortunate with the holidays that they could not get the parts for the elevator delivered. I still am not sure what happened with the pool. The condo association didn't close it and other owners who were onsite said they accessed it just fine. There are two gates. Our instructions are specific about which gate to use, and I attempted to confirm that with you. So again, I'm not sure what happened there. We are glad that you had a good trip and enjoyed the unit.

Property needs done work. Biggest problem was the elevator did not work so we had to haul our luggage, groceries and everything else up three flights of stairs for the entire week. They kept promising that it would be fixed. Never happened. I could have rented a condo without an elevator! French doors out to the deck the handle was broke so every time you went outside it fell off in your hand. Master bath shower door would not close so there was water on the floor every time you used it. Communication with the property manager was pleasant but ineffective.

I’m sorry you had a issue with the elevator not working. We notified the HOA right away but unfortunately elevators are specialized equipment. They require certified people and parts that you can’t pick up at Homedepot. It has since been repaired and is orperating correctly now.

The door handle to deck is broken has be for some time as can see marks where it's hit the floor.
It's fantastic location. Can sit on deck and see ocean. Close to everything we cared to do. Would say cleaning person needs to vacuum behind furniture, lots of small trash behind dressers and bed. Cleaning supplies sitting in master bedroom by door. Dishes in dishwasher. Overall very pleased, would rent again.

We are glad you enjoyed the location and condo. We had a new person clean while our regular was out of town for a wedding. We have addressed the issue and this person will not be cleaning for us anymore

Girl's Trip
This was a girl's trip with 9 ladies all of us were very satisfied with how secure the property was and how clean & beautiful this unit was. The view was amazing, the access to the pool, beach, parking garage, shops and restaurants were all in walking distance. We all had an amazing trip and will definitely rent this unit again. We were in love with the area. Perfect trip.

Wonderful Place 8/15/22
This property was so wonderful. Upon arrival I had to call the property manager, she was available and helped me with what I needed. The place was lovely, we took a girl's trip, and everything was exactly like the site said it was, spacious, clean and near restaurants and entertainment. I will most definitely refer this place as a 5 star property, I will also book this property again real soon.

Maintenance Horrible
Property was a good size for our family, great location, however not maintained at all. Other units in the same condo property were much nicer for same price. The A/C was not working and maintenance call had to be made upon arrival, several items broken and made it difficult to use. Would be wonderful if all amenities were fixed. Cleanliness upon arrival as well- door was dirty out to deck, sink in kitchen still full of green liquid, supposedly to clean floors; toilet paper holder broken in half bath and towel bar in second bath broken. Shower in master bath leaks water all over floor. Supposedly new door to deck ordered but handle broken and difficult to use.

We are glad you enjoyed the size and location of the property and sorry that you had some maintenance issues. We fixed the HVAC, toilet paper holder and towel rack. Unfortunately the door handle is special order since they are high end storm rated doors. We hope to have it fixed soon.

Great location, could use some TLC
All the previous reviews still hold...too many 'issues' to list again but a few: door handle to porch falls off, TP holder in 1/2 bath fell off, shower curtain rod, towel ring AND towel bar in secondary bath FELL OFF during stay. Lots of little things. BUT having said all that, the location and space is FANTASTIC. I would definitely come back and deal with the many minor inconveniences. Do your customers a favor and hire a handy man for a day.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
WILL NEVER RENT THIS ONE AGAIN. The owner doesn't care, wouldn't respond to my messages. I contacted VRBO and they reached out to owner and she hung up on them. Kitchen was dirty, dishwaher had awful odor and was dirty inside, stuff left under beds and on bedroom floors, cupboards inside weren't clean, patio door in living room was broke...no mini blind on it. Sofa bed had crushed pretzel rods under cushion, candy wrapper and chips on sofa mattress ...no bedding for that bed either. Stove is faulty! Told owner we had pics....she didn't care. WOULD NOT RENT....OVER PRICED for what you get

Please call us direct so we can discuss and clear up the inacurate imformation in the review. We did respond to your messages and even sent the cleaner back out and brought more linens as well as address any cleaning issue you had. Then we got a call from VRBO and they said if we didn't give you a refund, you were going to write a bad reivew. We didn't hang up on them, why would we do that?

Pros: location, short walk to the beach and peer. Beds very comfortable. Having assigned parking huge plus. Cons: Bedroom window will not close, held shut with a hair tie. Bedroom table missing knobs. Bedroom dresser back is coming off with exposed nails/tacks. Stains and marks all through out condo. Microwave is duct taped. Did have another one that worked Fridge and freezer are dirty. Door to patio won’t stay locked or shut. Bathroom has the paper holder ripped off. Hall bathroom hand towel holder falls off. Hall bathroom towel rack is leaning about to fall off. Coffee pot has leftover coffee in it. Kitchen sink has a very hard time turning off. Feels like handle will fall off, water dips. Dressers, tables, remotes have dust on them. Mold in master bathroom. Pink looking mold in hall bathroom. Patio with live wire showing in the ceiling. Big stain in carpet of primary bedroom

Overpriced unit
Upon checking in and unpacking, I set my 1 yr. old (crawling) granddaughter on the floor to let her explore the surroundings and was immediately surprised at the dirt on her knees and feet (pictures upon request). I immediately had my 3 yr. and 6 yr. old grandsons sit down to look at their bare feet that turned out to be just as dirty (pictures also upon request). I contacted the VRBO host and his reply was that this was to be expected due to the unit being located on the beach!?!?!? Unacceptable answer! Not to mention the inconvenience of 2 keys to enter the condo (as per host instructions)??? We have been staying at Tybee for 20 years and have always found reasonably priced units that were comfortable and clean. Not so with this condo...definitely not a $450 per night unit!!

Great location but less than impressed with property
We stayed in this unit for my husband's surprise 50th. I guess I should have read through the reviews a little more because now that I went back to read I’m seeing that several of these issues were already mentioned in the reviews and they have not been fixed. I'll start by saying the location was great and the condo was nice and roomy. It was not very clean though and many things in poor shape. Here is the list that I made: the door handle going to the back porch is broken and continuously fell off, the carpet in the bedrooms is very dirty and all guest wore shoes the whole time, the master bath shower leaks all over the floor and my husband almost fell getting out because there was so much water he slipped on, several outlets didn’t work, one of the sinks in master bath is clogged, 1/2 bath toilet paper holder was on the ground out of the wall, 2nd bath shower liner was dirty with pink mold all on it, kitchen facet didn’t turn off all the way, microwave taped together, the only trash bag was the one in the trash can. The only ones we could find were the mini ones so we had to make several trips to dump the trash. And overall cleanliness wasn’t great, several hairs were in the shower."

Wonderful location place was great....we had one little problem with door handle on baloney access other than EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING shot walk to restaurants....convenient stores.....and Arby's lolo shops....never had to drive beach access steps away.....guy selling chairs on beach 2 and umbrella 30 bucks additional chairs 5 dollars.....great location watch sunset from your patio ......all codes worked great.....my only thing is on our stay there was a family using hot tub as KIDDY POOL literally had floates on kids .....EVEN THOUGH rules listed.....so there are THOSE PARENTS WHO DONT READ RULES!.....BEAUTIFUL STAY!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CONDO!!!!!

Beautiful layout, needs maintenance & working appliances
Lovely condo with lots of promise. Elevator, dishwasher didn't work. Not enough pots & pans to cook in, all need to be pitched and new bought. Towel racks in all 3 baths fell out of walls. Loved the porch and furniture on it. Location perfect. SHower door in master warped and water everywhere. Bought a table lamp and left it, so we could read.

Great little getaway!
We (my inlaws, my partner and I, and 4 kids between the ages of 10 and 14) took a short vacation and stayed here. It was perfect for our group! The instructions were good, the condo was just as described, everything was clean and in working order, the beds were comfortable; couldn't have asked for more! We will definitely be back!!

Miki the property manager was terrific. There were numerous items in disrepair that had not been fixed ( sticking, and unlockable doors out to porch, ((handy man came and opened just needed to push where it sticks)) or that property mAnager was unaware of( closet door off, shower door not closing all the way with water leaking onto floor, toilet tissue holder missing with large holes in wall, less than 6 hangers for 6 adults, double double bedroom mattresses poor and uncomfortable quality, dirty carpets (made feet black on bottom) unit needs luggage cart for moving your luggage/ bags, etc into out of elevator to 3rd floor) Beautiful property & great location just needs more attention to repairs/replacements after each rental.

Great location and layout but somewhat disappointed
Love the location and corner unit. I was disappointed that the blinds on the patio door were broken, the handle fell off the patio door as we attempted to go out of the door, the electric grill was full of cigarette butts so we couldn't use it and we were given the wrong gate codes to get in and out of the property. The microwave over the stove was broken and taped up so the vent didn't work. We communicated all of this to the property manager but got very little response.

Great but a few inconveniences
The condo is beautiful and the accommodations are great - View is fabulous w being able to see the ocean. We had a few fixes that were needed so we were down for 2 days without a microwave and one working toilet (which was desperately needed). Padded key code doesn’t work so always having to take a key vs using a code. Ice maker needs fixed and is extremely noisy!! I asked for a discount due to these inconveniences, but never received a response. They didn’t supply any extra towels. (6 towels only). Just 1 per person; so we had to wash towels a lot. Lastly there is a passive aggressive note in the bathroom about going to the store to buy makeup wipes so we don’t use their towels or you will be charged for towels that have make up or self-tanner on them. Maybe buy towels that aren’t white so you’re customer isn’t inconvenienced. If fixes are made I would definitely stay here again. So perhaps ask before booking.

We enjoyed our stay, the condo is very spacious and so is the balcony. The views were perfect. Kids got to eat breakfast while watching the sunrise and then a quick walk across the parking lot! The unit provided sand toys and noodles which was great for the kids. Plenty of toilet paper, and kitchen was fully stocked. The laundry room was a bonus, so we could wash the towels and re-use. Just quick call outs. Keep the welcome packet handy as there are several codes (the car gate code, the walking gate code and your door gate code). I like to clean up before I leave (three kids) and there wasn’t anything to clean with like a multi surface spray, so used hot water and soap. We would love to come back and create more family memories here.

Love the location of the Brassrail condos our seventh year staying there. It seems to be needing repair and upkeep. The fountains at the pool no longer work and rusted holes in the stairs. The key pad on our unit door didn’t work and we were left one physical key locked to the railing on the floor outside the door, very inconvenient . The patio door lock didn’t work well. The master bath shower door was hard to close from inside the shower. Patio furniture was nice with a beautiful ocean view except for water from the air conditioner pudding right outside the door.

Great location!
This property has a great view of the ocean/beach from the balcony! You can sit and enjoy your coffee or a good book and watch the sun rise. There was plenty of space for our four adults and five kids (8, 10, 11, 14, 17). All codes worked as expected, though there was only one door key instead of two as the check-on instructions indicated. There was minimal disruption at night and we all slept great! The pool was great to come to after a day at the beach and it was never overly crowded. There are several restaurants within short walking distance, as well as stores and ice cream! The only issue we really had was the patio door handle kept falling off and we had trouble opening and closing the door. I would highly recommend staying at this property (this is our second time in this complex, different unit each time).
