"The property was beautiful and clean. Communications with the host were easy even though we didn’t speak Italian. Host was very responsive to our questions and responded immediately. A/C functioned well in the bedrooms. There were many beautiful areas to relax outdoors. The town of Cima was lovely and we had really good meals at the local restaurants. "Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"When booking this hotel, we knew it wasn't in the city center or close to major sightseeing spots. However, upon arrival, we were still shocked by the location: it is situated in an industrial zone rather than a residential or commercial area. Aside from the poor location, everything else was fine, especially considering the affordable price we paid."

"Excellent pool area beautiful view and a great walk into town - not that far but a steep hike walking back which we enjoyed - you could opt for the bus which is free if you stay more than 2 nights but we didn’t need it and walked in and out of town twice per day. It was a lovely room, view, pool, breakfast with great parking - very lovely and we would stay again!"

"I can’t say enough about the concierge team! They were able to arrange transfers, boat excursion, taxi…anything we needed with just an email. It was all arranged prior to arrival and was perfect. The afternoon terrace lunches were delicious, especially the gin and tonic experience. And the housekeeping staff exceptional. We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"

"The room was clean but under the bed was very dusty. A handle fell off the door to the balcony. Reported this to reception and it was repaired the same day. Two lights not working in the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Level of English good when required. Air conditioning excellent. Parking good. Free in the sun. We paid for underground secutr parking. Good breakfast buffet."
