Convenient to ski and to use the water park

Posted Apr 7, 2016
Pros: Location and overall
Cons: Walls are thin. Can here the neighbors too easily.
Location: Skiing is outstanding
The water park is for young children. Do not get 2 days, 1 day is more than enough unless you have kids 8 and under.

Nice place to stay in Kellogg

Posted Aug 2, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed here while doing the Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes bike route. It is a perfect stopover point. The room is nice and clean with a kitchenette and very nice bathroom. The resort has a few little shops and some OK restaurants. Plus you get a discount for the water park which is just outside the door. I didn't realize when I first booked this room that it is a private condo and not a regular hotel room. That wasn't a problem, but it's good to know in advance.

Great get away spot with outdoor fun.

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: We liked the décor, cleanliness, and the fact that it was close to the fun outdoor activities.
Cons: Perhaps a bit more parking.
Location: Lots of restaurants to choose from, gondola, biking, waterpark, hiking, scenic drives...lots to enjoy.
We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the balance of recreation and relaxation. The room was so comfortable after our outdoor adventures and we enjoyed the crisp air on the balcony with our coffee in the mornings. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

Looks like fun, but problem with reservation

Posted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
I received an email confirmation through Hotels.com, but the private owner's email did not get to me. I assume that it went to my junk mail. The property looks nice, but I would suggest that the owner get into the rental pool with the front desk so that they can handle customers when they arrive. When I arrived, the receptionists had no idea who I was-no reservation in their system. Apparently, after booking on Hotels.com, the owner sends you an email, you pre-pay for the room through paypal, then she sends you a key or otherwise has to make arrangements to get it to you. It's great if this is your destination, but not so easy for travelers on a road trip. I ended up leaving, so I couldn't tell you about the details of the amenities, but they have a water park, golf resort and a ski resort. There are several hot tubs to which you may have access but the water park is not included in your stay. You can get a discount through the owner. I would suggest this property to people looking for a nice weekend getaway in that area. It looks like fun!
