“Truly a hidden gem the Sierra’s. Based on the location, it could’ve been hit or miss, boy was it a hit. Dripping with historical charm, insanely friendly hotel staff, immaculate rooms, and a wonderful back patio to enjoy the great beer selection, and amazing food. Would 100% recommend this place to anybody.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Yuba River Inn. The location was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. “This is listed as a four-star hotel on Google, but that is not the case. It is definitely 2 1/2 as listed on Expedia. They did not have reliable Wi-Fi or any of the basic channels to watch sports. Based on other reviews it had recently changed ownership. They need to up their game or the poor reviews will start pouring in.”

“We stayed in a yurt. It was very comfortable for three people. A bunk bed and one-man cot were provided. Bring your own bedding. (We liked the fact that it had a small fridge, coffee machine, heater, and fan. The designated grill for the yurt was a PLUS for cooking/grilling purposes. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. We appreciated the staff who took the extra care to keep them clean. They literally would scrub the showers daily. The WIFI in the LODGE was a great feature so you could……

“I like staying here when the cabins are available. We last minute booked so we had to get a normal room. We've stayed a couple of different times and while I really liked It the first few times this last time was a huge turn off. It was really dirty, It felt like we were in the middle of a remodel, there was a huge trash dumpster in the middle of the parking lot, weeds overgrowing the parking spaces, the bathroom shower had spots on the ceiling, floor needed to be cleaned. It just wasn't as tidy……

“We were placed in a room that smelled like urine so the staff moved us to another room. The TV remote didn't work and Noone could help fix it. They just suggested we move back to the original room. Overall the stay was ok but don't think I would be back or suggest this place to others. Breakfast was good. Love the waffles”

“Julie and Ron were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcomed. The room was elegant with a very comfortable bed and huge closet. It was a very quiet stay. The inn was close to shopping and fine dining. However, there was no surface space on which to put things. There were no shelves and only a small dresser in the closet. The only surface was the bed. We constantly lived out of our bags. One must be healthy and mobile to get to the patio or to the refrigerator.”
