“The property grounds are lovely but everything was in need of maintenance and repair. My room smelled like years of stale cigarette smoke. However, It is my understanding that the entire property is currently under a renovation and my room had not yet been renovated. Pool was empty and needed a complete replacement. “Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. ”

“Charming and well loved warm and detailed and comfortable. Because I booked 3rd party I didn’t receive vital info that was necessary for positive host/guest relations. Had info been received in timely manner and understood much confusion and frustration no doubt avoided (no fault of host btw, host was a victim of this disadvantage as well)
