“Visiting Door County was a bucket list item for my visiting family and they were not disappointed 😊. Porte Haven was a beautiful property with a fantastic view. I have a son that has mobility issues and the main floor of the house was accessible to him. I really appreciated being able to bring him and have him enjoy family time 😊. He loves boats and watching the Washington Island Ferry was entertaining to him. It was close to a beautiful state park, Ellison Bay and obviously the ferry!……

“One of the best places to stay near Sister Bay. The location is very convenient but quieter, the house is cute and well equipped with all the items we need, and the spacious backyard is a huge bonus!”

Pros: - location - coffee shop on site Cons: - dirty towels in room (orange and brown stains, disgusting!!!!!) - walls/floors are thin, could hear people in room next to us and above walking around despite them not being overly loud - room was cleanish, shower looked like it needed a good scrub. And after the dirty towels it was hard to trust that sheets and comforter were fully clean - no one on site after 3pm to discuss concerns with - you have to……
