“When we checked in we were told they were short staffed and would clean our room after the 3rd night. Our room was never cleaned during our 6 night stay. We had to take out our own trash and repeatedly had to ask for fresh supplies. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, was frequently out of stock, and there was no fresh fruit. The pool water was freezing and unusable. There seem to be potential in this hotel but really suffered from a lack of people to run it. Those staff who were……

“What I liked was the location of the Hotel, it's proximity to excellent eateries and the views of Sturgeon Bay! The room was very clean and comfy. When we checked in there was staff available, but often as we'd come and go from our hotel, we wouldn't see anyone at the front desk or anywhere that we could have communicated with if we'd needed it. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay, it's cleanliness and location.”

“People bag on this hotel but it's a gem; I stay here everytime I come through. Your fellow guests may be a bit character-ish, but they're harmless. Rooms have great amenities if a bit dated, but the bathrooms especially are modern and lovely. Awesome throwback vibe. Love it here”

“Only suggestion was the musty smell in the room, which we brought to the attention of the front desk. They appreciated the feedback and are working on correcting the situation. Otherwise it was a beautiful place to stay and in a great location, very close to the Peninsula Park entrance and close to the towns of Fish Creek and Sister Bay.We really enjoyed our stay. Also, we tried to check into our room early and it wasn't available, but they called us when it was which I thought was a nice……
