Everything was perfect for families. All staff.were very nice, the hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Coffee 24/7, no complaints at all. It was great.

Great location. Some communications aend as PDF were very hard to read, but texting during stay easy

2 issues: the shower had some mold on the tile, the shower curtain was a little smelly and the shower wouldn’t turn on. It was fixed that day, but I had to rinse my hair and body by splashing water from the tub faucet. I was never offered a compensation like a free drink from the bar, etc. The 2nd issue was the breakfast. There were no dairy free or gluten free options at all. Cereal had no milk alternative, coffee was the same, no oatmeal. It was very basic.

Located conveniently for downtown Pittsburgh, the car park is behind the hotel. If you park yourself, you can save $10 on valet parking. Note that route 376 which leads to the downtown has a major detour before reaching the hotel. Adding half an hour to get there. ☹️ Hotel is modern and upmarket looking with an unusual staircase in the lobby. Also has a bar and restaurant. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. 😊 However official check-in is 4pm, later than most, and checkout is at 12pm. After a 5 hour drive from NJ, I was pretty disappointed not to be able to check in at 1pm. ☹️

We had a nice stay at The Maverick by Kasa. The rooms weee nicely furnished, with tons of hooks for hanging things! (So tired of hipster hotels that have rooms for 2 or more people and only 1-2 hooks for the whole room and bathroom!) All the hooks are a definite bonus here! The restaurant Hey Babe in the lobby is quite good! And the free coffee and amenities are also quite nice. My only slight concern was that at night, when the restaurant is closed, it’s a little desolate when entering the lobby. I would prefer if the elevator had an access only for guests with a fob, or perhaps a security guard from 11pm-6am? If i were staying alone, this may have bothered me more. Otherwise, great stay and we recommend! (Parking at nearby garages is easy.)
