Vacation home in West Valley City with kitchen and fireplace
Full kitchen with no walls separating the living / dining areas makes the place feel very open and roomy. There are two 65" smart tvs and fast fiber optic internet. The location is a nice neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping with WinCo Foods just 2 miles away for 24/7 groceries. You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Salt Lake International airport is only 7 miles away.

The entire main floor of the home is your space. Includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, dining room, and washer + dryer. You will have all these areas to yourself. No shared spaces. You will have your own entry doors. There is a separate residence in the basement with it's own side entrance and with no access to the rest of the house.

Nice enough place
They need to get a new cleaning crew! The toilets, sinks and showers were pretty gross and things like baseboards, windows seals etc. were also not cleaned anytime recently! Then the fridge and freezer were a very small, RV style one. I couldn’t fit the food I had brought for our 3 day stay in it! That was frustrating! Besides that, it was good

Not as expected
To start off the house sits on a very steep hill. It had snowed about 16 inches prior to us getting in. No problem other than our parking spot wasn't cleaned out and there was no salt to de-ice with. So we pulled into the driveway to unload since it was the only thing cleared. It wasn't until later when someone asked us to move our vehicle that I noticed that we were not supposed to park there. That was my fault for not reading that but the parking space was also not made ready for guest or even marked out so you would know. The next issue was the heat. We could not control the heat while we stayed. It was kept at 68. In most cases that might have been okay but the windows were not air tight and there were no curtains on the windows. Then the back windows and sliding door didn't open and they were frosted in color so you couldn't see out. The bathroom shower in the hallway never would get hot water. The fridge is really too small for more than 2 people. I did see that it was small in the ad but didn't realize just how small. It didn't have a bad location to downtown and it was not in a bad neighborhood. It might be an okay stay during the spring and summer but not for winter. As far as being clean, it was just okay. Some things just didn't look clean. Maybe it had been a while since it was rented last but it should have had a fresh once over.

Decent Stay
Anything is better than a hotel, and for the price this is what was expected. We were concerned about the safety of the property because the sliding glass door wouldnt close all the way. We eventually got it shut. The property was not fully cleaned or stocked with essentials such as paper towels and toilet paper. The manager was responsive once we got a hold of him. The bathrooms were not fully cleaned, but beds were decent and the space was perfect size for our family. Some of the updates were nice and overall it was what we needed. I would stay here again because of the affordability and location. The fridge is very small.

Not Great
This property was supposed to be newly-remodeled, but it did not have basic amenities. There were no bath mats, the fridge was tiny, the showers had curtains, but no liners. I could go on. It felt like they gave up on the property before they finished. It was clean-ish, but the dishwasher didn’t work, so we ended up with a pile of dirty dishes. We let the owner know, but the problem wasn’t resolved during our 3 day stay.
