“Great little spot for a few nights exploring the Elk Rapids area. Plenty of space to unhook/store our boat. Having the grill and fire pits was nice - we cooked our own dinner there both nights!”

“This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.”

“The room was well decorated, clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again.”

“Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off. Beds seemed clean and we're comfy. Breakfast was surprisingly good--hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast bars, muffins, juices, coffee, and best of all,……
