Spacious room. Quiet. Good enough for a quick stopover but old lumpy beds (I had to use a folded up towel to stop the spring digging into my hip!) furniture tired. Bedding flat and heavy. Bathrooms clean and nicely decorated but noisy extractor fan. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was really nice. I wouldn’t stay again because of the mattresses, but all ther issues were minor.

The parkland area around the hotel was a nice walk along with the walled garden. The staff was friendly and answered questions patiently. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was lovely.

Convenient location. I’ve stayed a couple of times and will probably stay again.
Breakfast option pretty limited but there are some good places for breakfast near by or take advantage of the facilities and DIY breakfast.
