“一間國際油名的酒店, 在整體管理及房間清潔低於一般水平. 我住兩晚, 竟然沒有人清潔房間,廢紙箱內仍然有垃圾, 沒有更新毛巾, 及收拾床舖, 查問前台人員, 竟然對答時執房的政策是alternative day收拾房間, 即是我住兩晚不會有清理房間的服務. 早上在大堂升降機與一名應該是酒店的管理人員一同乘搭, 升降機地面有水漬, 我跟他說有水漬, 他只是笑一笑, 我回來再乘搭升降機時竟然沒有清潔. 其次所謂歐陸式早餐, 冇乜選擇, 咖啡非常普通, 將預製食物翻熱, 只係讚的是,工作人員清潔台面十分努力, 對這間酒店有少少失望.”

“We had problems with the air conditioning unit in our room. There was a constant wincing sound from the fan motor. The hotel could not resolve the issue. The technician apparently did not have the part. It was stuffy in the room because of this and we could not open the windows. The temperature control panel fell off when I tried to press a button... I think that this place has a lot of potential, but clearly, they need to upgrade the cooling/heating systems in the rooms.”

“Large room, very helpful staff, clean, $10 uber ride to downtown, safe and great breakfast. Extra care on French toast for my daughter with celiac (very sensitive) was very appreciated.”

“The property is perfectly located for downtown and the harbour! Decorating and having what we needed was good! The renovations for bathrooms and decor were wonderful. A historic building! However we were on the top floor and the air conditioning did not work and normally that is ok but it was terribly hot and we felt like our room was in an attic with no air flow! We had windows that opened to the courtyard, which we could hear all the conversations and loudness from the events that were in……

“Our room was very outdated compared to the room shown in the Expedia photos (old stinky carpet, etc). Apparently they have a large section of the hotel that’s been modernized but we didn’t luck out. Also the parking wasn’t accessible directly under the hotel…we had to walk down corridors, walkways, down flights of stairs (no elevator to get there), etc. Staff were very helpful and lovely though and helped improve our stay”

“The Manor is well kept. The breakfast was nice, there was cereal, bread, bagels, croissants, jam, peanut butter, cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, coffee, tea, juices. Served in a cozy kitchen that sat 13 people..a great opportunity to meet people and chat. There was always someone there on staff to ensure the breakfast was was stocked and answer questions. We met Brenda (owner) and had a great chat. (Fellow hockey parents😊) Our room was the Twillingate on the 3rd floor (lots of steps)……

“Perfect cozy stay! The space was large enough for two, private, and the location was perfect! Near enough to be accessible to everything, but far enough away to avoid noise and traffic. Space was perfectly decorated! We loved that there was no TV! Staff was also very helpful!”
