“There was no kitchen, and the rooms were not done daily”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. I wasn’t expecting a kitchen in the room, but it proved to be very convenient. The only thing that I was disappointed in, was there wasn’t a charging station for my EV Hybrid vehicle.”

“A character home with very no actual character beyond the first impression when entering the main doors. We stayed in the Bell Island Suite, which in no way felt like a suite. It felt more like a dated cottage or camp cabin. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with no consistent style or attention to detail. Issues included missing drawer knobs, mismatched hardware, peeling paint on the shower ceiling, cracked bathroom floor tiles, poor ventilation causing slippery floors, worn furniture,……

“一間國際油名的酒店, 在整體管理及房間清潔低於一般水平. 我住兩晚, 竟然沒有人清潔房間,廢紙箱內仍然有垃圾, 沒有更新毛巾, 及收拾床舖, 查問前台人員, 竟然對答時執房的政策是alternative day收拾房間, 即是我住兩晚不會有清理房間的服務. 早上在大堂升降機與一名應該是酒店的管理人員一同乘搭, 升降機地面有水漬, 我跟他說有水漬, 他只是笑一笑, 我回來再乘搭升降機時竟然沒有清潔. 其次所謂歐陸式早餐, 冇乜選擇, 咖啡非常普通, 將預製食物翻熱, 只係讚的是,工作人員清潔台面十分努力, 對這間酒店有少少失望.”

“What a lovely homey B&B. The house is an historic one and the furnishings and decor are in keeping with that. The room we had was big and had 3 lovely bright windows with a window seat. Our hosts, Lynn and George were amazing. Very helpful with ideas of places to go and things to do, not just around Harbour Grace but all over the Avalon. We followed their suggestions and were never disappointed. And the breakfasts were fantastic. More than enough and so well prepared. We did play with……

“Great stay. Petty Harbour room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the private bathroom with shower and Native brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was a definite highlight during which the owner Rob offered recommendations and advice on the local sites, stories, and jokes a plenty. Fantastic location. Would absolutely stay again.”
