“Not a lot of places close but restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. The town of Bunkie itself had quite a few restaurants. Pool has no water so kids kinda bummed. Breakfast was minimal. Waffles fruit cereal. Room was decent and clean. Staff was friendly. ”

Twice I’ve had to stay in different places due to no available vacancy, and both times I was reminded how much I truly appreciated the hospitality, warm welcome, privacy and convenience of staying at Loyd Hall. During my 3 months of regular stays here, it began to feel like a home away from home. Priced fairly for the many amenities and accommodating hosts. I’ve made special requests a couple times and was met with prompt response……

“When we arrived, we were assigned a room key to the wrong room. When we tried to enter the room, someone opened the door and yelled at us and it was not our fault. The room was not cleaned well Stain on the carpet and on the back of the bathroom door. ”

“When we arrived they were unsure on what room to give me even though it had been booked in advance. Apparently they had several rooms booked with multiple workers that were cooking in front of the rooms. There was a lot of debris and noise with a lot of traffic going in and out. Water pressure in the rooms made it very hard to get a shower.”
