I had seen many mixed reviews, but I’m glad that I booked this hotel last minute. The polls are amazing. Well kept the ocean. Water was nice and clear, although seaweed kept maintained very well. When I arrived. I was disappointed to hear that I only had the option of a specialty restaurant for one night, I am not a buffet girl usually, they are a disappointment. However, the buffets every day had tons of options and the service was on point. The actual specialty restaurant was OK. I did Spain dinner and it was OK. I will be recommending people to go to this hotel.

It was not accommodating for those with a language barrier. It was my sons birthday and I asked for the staffs assistance to help celebrate his special day via email and in person the staff ignored me and never bought his cake to his room. The staff was not accommodating for a beautiful resort that offered so much. The staff only assisted their and catered to their own. Security constantly follwed my family and myself around for no reason. Never experienced this before. Will not be back anytime soon.

This was our first all inclusive vacation and it was amazing! We came with friends and stayed for one week. We love the Tropical pool, the best. The staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful. We can’t wait to come back again!

Pros: I liked all the features/options offered with the premium package. The check-in process was fast and our receptionist was very helpful. The dining at the specialty restaurans was really good. The room service food was really great, even though the menu options were limited. The resort facilities were always nice and clean. Noticed a lot of facilty improvements for water conservation. Overall, a beautiful resort. Areas of improvement: The AC unit in our room was not working properly, it needed to be serviced. Some fixtures in our bathtub were old or broken. The flavor/quality of the food and drinks in the buffets was average, although the variety of options was broad. The cocktails served at most of the bars were not too strong.

Our group of seven family had a great time. Lots of amenity options, food and great beach access. Room was convenient but out dated. AC did not get below 26d C until the last two days into a 6 night stay after several service calls finally got down to 23dC. Also no vent in bathroom and very humid. Other that that you should be doing stuff in the room other than sleep.

Barceló caribe is an amazing all inclusive resort . Very clean and has so much to do within resort . Food is ok , drinks ok, they give the cheap beer and liquors since it’s all inclusive
