“Room was lovely and comfy. Very clean wth en-suite, shower with amenities, towels body/shower gel, conditioner, hand cream and soap. Comfy double bed, the room had a coffee machine, kettle, fan and hairdryer. 32 inch TV suitable for room size. Complimentary breakfast more of a continental style but not fully. Teas, coffees, cereals, fruit, small selection of juices and toaster and microwave. Host was on hand to make hot drinks and toast, very hospitable and friendly. Guest are welcome to help……

“The Milking Parlour is a hidden gem set in wonderful surroundings in the country ,but just a short drive from the park and ride into York, I received a detailed text message on how to find it and where to park. The cottage itself is extremely clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and bath and the beds give a great nights sleep. A nice little touch was a pint of milk in the fridge and some biscuits on the side. I was very impressed and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting……

“Property was lovely, communication excellent. It would just take a couple of things for a 5 star ie two big towels as two people staying, additional toilet roll, kitchen to have more utensils. The listing really should mention the tv is almost impossible as the wifi signal is bad and maybe have some games or puzzles available as we were not aware the tv would just buffer constantly.. Also instructions on central heating, oven etc as they were new to us and took a bit of figuring. It was just……
