"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50\. "We were so looking forward to a 1 night stay here as part of our honeymoon. As regular travellers to Montreux we were excited to finally try Suisse Majestic but were bitterly disappointed. Paid for a deluxe lake view room. The room itself was ok, but the bathroom was very poor and cramped. The shower head didnt stay up, and access was limited. The "balcony" was tiny - very disappointing. Our main gripe was the temperature of the room which was set at 27 degrees - way too hot! We couldnt adjust this as this is "hotel policy". The phone in the room didnt work, so we tripped down to reception. Advised to open the door. This didnt have much effect so ended up with the door open ALL night - not much sleep with outside noise from traffic and friday night revellers. Weed smells started drifting in from about 6am, so we gave up. Definitely wouldnt return."

"The hotel is well equipped for a work traveler and the decor is clean and modern. Although there are some restaurants and eateries in the area (5-10 minutes walk), there is also a decent restaurant and bar in the hotel lobby. Breakfast was good but a pit pricy... maybe ok for Geneva rates. This is a quiet but accessible neighborhood... main bus stops are 3-5 minutes walk away. The staff was very responsive, helpful, and pleasant. I had a very comfortable stay :) "
