“We absolutely loved our stay at the Palmetto hotel. The location is walking distance from most popular tourist sites and exceptional restaurants. The staff was polite and helpful. We rented a car so that we could take a couple day trips while we were there and there is a valet conveniently located in the building. The breakfast was adequate and we had a little bite there every morning. If we ever return to Charleston, there is no question that we'd stay at this same hotel. I could not give……

“The location, the amenities, the staff, the clean, nicely decorated rooms, the free Champagne. Everything was in walking distance, all the great restaurants, the harbor, the great shopping districts. The Mills House is in the center of everything. Would definitely stay at the Mills House again.”

“Great hotel in the heart of central Charleston. Historic flavor but well appointed, comfortably modern rooms. We stayed in a suite that had a very well stocked kitchenette so would be great for a multi-day stay. Rooftop restaurant and bar was heavenly! The only thing we wished the hotel had was blackout shades in the living area of the suite. Other than that it was perfect!”

“Fabulous service, with a special shout out to Crystal! Lovely wine and cheese hour. Great rooftop bar and restaurant. Very walkable area. The room was like an upscale city apartment. This is our favorite hotel in Charleston!”

“The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our room was exactly as it appeared online and was beautiful! The traffic was a little noisy at night but being right in the heart of the historic district that comes with the territory! We really enjoyed our stay and getting to know the area!”
