“Needs remodelation and more attencion”

“The room was clean and comfy beds were like sleeping on a cloud and those pillows omg they are amazing id love to buy 4 of them if u tell me where to buy them lol Sunny and Gary the 2 men at the check in desk were so nice nd helpful. The food was a big yes on the buffet buy the night before I got lettuce wraps and they didnt give me the sauce so I had to walk all the way to the other end of thw 2nd floor then down the stairs then down another long hall to the restaurant.. got my sauce went all...

“The breakfast service is very poor. The woman at the counter is very rude to the guests, which spoils the breakfast. There is no permanent coffee service for guests. The rooms are not quiet. For sure there must be better places to stay at Lewiston. The truth is that there is no good service policy in the establishment.”

“The room was dingy, clearly hadn't been cleaned more than a simple sweep and wipedown of the counter tops. The floor was sticky, buckled, and the floorboards were sticking up, causing us to trip on more than one occasion. The room smelled like pet urine on one side of the room. The walls appeared to be mid-renovation with many spackled holes that hadn't been painted and appeared to have been there a while, with new dings/scratches still left to fix. “Nice view of golf course, but couldn't go on porch... too many flies on sliding glass doors! First room had Hornet nest on bedroom wall inside; 2nd room locked out, battery low on keypad that no one knew how to replace!! Had to leave... manager rarely available to talk to about problems. 2 months later finally got an answer & credit. Terrible experience!”

“Breakfast is an extra charge. Used soap in bathrooms. No cream or half n half. Only tap water for drinking. No ice. Home is beautiful. Hostess very friendly.”

“After spending 12 hour days with our two granddaughters, 2YO and 4YO, we were more than ready to enjoy the peaceful and nicely appointed space at Turkey Crossing! While a king bed would have been better for us, we still appreciated the cleanness and quaintness of the property! It was so close to so much in both Freeport and Bruswick. We appreciated the early check in as well!”

“The property had a beautiful view of the lake and was conveniently located for attending both the Moxi Festival and the Great Maine Airshow. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. There were many outdoor attributes like the gas grill and kayaks that we didnt take advantage of. The cabin is rustic and smelled musty upon arrival but did air out overnight. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.”

“Gem of a place to stay visiting our Bates student! House was roomy, very clean, and beds were comfy. Great communication with the hosts. Hope to stay again in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the outdoor spots- balcony on each floor, fire pit area, and lake access. ”
