The guy on the desk when we arrived was fabulous! Super friendly and very accommodating. The night guy who made sure we had something to eat before our early departure was also great. Unfortunately the room was not so great. A view of garbage cans and the mattresses could definitely be thrown out.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Easy and safe walk to train stations and shopping and dining. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Excellent amenities, including 24/7 access to tea and coffee. Water refill stations on a number of floors in the hotel which was very convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay again!

"Until standardisation of weights and measures in the 18th century, a "mile" in Scotland could be a variable distance.
