“A good basic hotel for the price paid. Staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately stayed on a very warm evening and rooms had no aircon or fans available making sleeping almost impossible. Rooms pretty basic but clean and well maintained.”

“Great breakfast and rooms would be fine in typical cooler Irish weather. In this summer heat, the room was very hot, no ventilation except the window, no fan, and there is noise all night from the road in front if you leave the window open. We hardly slept. The manager was rude to my wife when she asked for a fan but the receptionist was helpful and apologetic.”

It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. It was well that we were both able bodied as it was a struggle to get our suitcases up the stairs. The……
