“Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf ein Heritage Superior Zimmer in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wird bei unserem nächsten Irland Besuch wieder gebucht.”

“Beautiful hotel with past century charm, but modern in every way. This was an old Railroad era grand hotel. Rooms are huge with nice furniture. The staff could not have been better. Breakfast was excellent. Location is easy walking distance to pubs, stores, restaurants in downtown area. About 5 minutes drive to Killarney National Park. After having stayed 2 nights at Ashford Castle, I didn't think any other hotel could measure up. This one did.”

“Absolutely lovely stay at Muckross Hotel. Great location outside of busy Killarney. Right at the trailhead for many beautiful walks; staff were lovely, room big and elegant; very comfortable bed and wonderful spa with big jet pool, steam, sauna, outside hot tub. Highly recommend!”

“If you are looking for a nice bBB stay this insnt it. You sign in down the block at a local nearby hotel. Breakfast is served at that same hotel not in the bnb . You must pay to park about a block away . There is no one to help you in the actual bnb . Our spa in bathroom didn’t work. Did I walk a block naked to tell the hotel guy? No I didn’t The man who signed us in wouldn’t even allow me to ask a question before he answered it The location is perfect for shopping etc Not what we were……

“Spacious but old. There are no mattress protectors for the mattresses, the mattress cover is completely pilled and feels scratchy like an old wool sweater, uncomfortable. Other than that everything else is ok. There have a combined washer and dryer, kitchen full of essentials.”

“Good location if you want to visit the ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe. The Hotel is comfortable and new. Breakfast provided is nice and I was given lots of fruits and chocolate on arrival.”

“The property needs a lot of tender loving care. It seems very run down and neglected. It could use some significant refreshing. Examples -- stains in the carpet throughout the property, including the room. There were stains and even holes in the curtains in the room. Dull fluorescent lighting throughout the property. The staff were just ok. Not rude, but not super helpful either. We were given a handicap accessible room -- not preferred. But we were too tired to ask for another room. The……

“Location convenient for touring Kilarney Nat'l Park and Ring of Kerry. House was immaculate, room comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and quick to help. Breakfasts delicious with a variety to please all. Use of tea room was also convenient for quick snacks or meals. We felt at home. Would definitely stay there again.”
