“The Vero was excellent and this despite the renovations currently underway. The staff worked around this disruption to provide excellent assistance at helping us and providing for our comfort. “The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. It was well that we were both able bodied as it was a struggle to get our suitcases up the stairs. The……

“We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers and were a bit nervous about staying over a popular pub. It turned out to be the absolute decision we could have made. We had a room with a double bed and two twins, which was perfect for our family. The pub isn't so loud that it bothers you while you are in your room - the only thing we had was a bit of street noice, but that's par for the course. The food in the pub is great too! The center location couldn't have been better - there is street……
