“Clean rooms friendly staff”

“Extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. Has both interior and exterior room access. Convenient location for a small town. Highly recommended.”

“This place was so clean!”

“Ed was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us several great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also offered us a tour of his property on his 4 wheeler, which was a lot of fun. I was able to feed the animals from the corn that grew on his property, too. Be sure to visit with him if you get the chance. The accommodations are part of Ed's house in the country. It's laid back and rural-not spotless but homey. :)”

“The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway.”

“Place is simple and cheap, could use some upkeep on building, door sticks and the water spigot for the sink drips and being held with duct tape. No bathroom just a portapotty to use. And watch out for the mice. It's a beautiful location on the west fork of the kickapoo River with access to the River.”

“Nice and cozy place to stay.”

“Had some water temp issues during the winter time. But owner worked with us well to accommodate any issues.”

“The host was great, the cabin was beautiful and gave the exact aesthetics we were looking for. It ended up raining a majority of our stay and we got to watch the rain come in on a comfortable porch with a beautiful view. It was a quick stay for us but we plan on visiting again! 10/10 experience”

“Everything was wonderful”

“We had a great time here! Outdoor space was amazing with a great view of the bluffs. Inside was bigger than we thought with more beds than what we thought too. It was as described. Space was clean, hosts were friendly and responsive. The kitchen had many different tools to cook there, we just cooked there one night and one morning. Some how in the description we missed that this was a multi unit. The only thing that was a surprise with this was that we could hear the people above us walk……

“Communication was not acceptable.Downstairs kids’ room and bathroom were in disrepair.”

“Loved her stay here! We had a really really great time. Property is so nice. Location is great for getting around!”

“Pros: property was clean, attractive, comfortable and tons of space. Reasonable price, close to lots of fun places to explore. Hot tub and pool were enjoyable and the kitchen was fully functioning and a huge help to a large family. We would definitely stay there again. That said, there was room for improvement.Cons: It was definitely in the process of renovation, as one of the 7 bedrooms was closed off for repair, which we did not know about in advance. The pond had too much algae or something,……

“*****”

“We stayed here for our anniversary and left feeling so refreshed and grateful. The cabin is beautiful, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in and slow down. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars and waking up to the peaceful stillness around us—it really felt like a true getaway.Gays Mills is a very small town, so you’re truly stepping away from distractions and into rest, which was exactly what we needed. We heard that fall brings a whole……
