Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. It was small, but was cozy and well equipped. The loft bed was accessed by a wood ladder. This was fine, but made night time trips to the bathroom more of a challenge for us. The area is beautiful with the Kickapoo River nearby. Area is beautiful. Kitchen supplies is nothing special but has the bare essentials. Was nice having the grill and grill supplies. Many things to do in the area and Viroqua is a short drive. My only complaint is that the photos are a bit misleading. It looks very rustic, in the woods from the photos, but it is actually around 100 ft from a fairly often used road, with cabins on either side that are pretty close nearby. Has a very nice porch from which to enjoy the forest when it rains. The neighboring town is big into fireworks, has a shop with a good selection, so likely all the campsites along the river will be popping off a show.
