“For what we needed it was fine, we’re locals. However shower soaps on the wall were empty, the shower curtain rod we had to fix it was not tight to the wall just rested on the shower wall. The shower curtain was mildewed. When we walked in the floors were sandy. The bedroom does stay warm since the air is in the living room. Overall for the pool and quick walk to the beach made it all worth it! We enjoyed our time there with friends and family.”

“From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the host. Lovely unique property that felt like you were staying in someone's home rather than a B&B. Very comfortable room and the highlight of our stay was definitely breakfast. Our kids loved cooking their own pancakes at the table. Property very close to the beach and all the amenities in New Smyrna Beach with the bonus of on site parking. Thank you for such an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend Inn on the Avenue.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Salty Mermaid! The location was great, especially being so close to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property had a nice, relaxed beach atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. We also loved being able to walk around and enjoy everything New Smyrna Beach has to offer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely consider staying here again!”

“It was a nice little motel, the floors were a little bit grimy. I'm assuming from all the sand that is tracked in on a daily basis, the bath linens could use upgraded. They were very used, the beds were comfortable, it was quiet, never saw any hotel staff, everything was electronically set to you to check in. They did bring us new towels when we texted and asked them to they got right on it. Would stay again when our next visit”
