The room was disgusting and Dirty: toothpaste on the sink, champagne cork AND water bottle lid on the floor, huge scratch across one wall, beds were poorly made and pancake-thin. We did not and absolutely would not stay there.

Cabin was great, but the pull out couch mattress was very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on, in addition to the fact that it was completely missing the sheets and no one from the office picked up our calls when we realized it. Overall, everything else was ok and clean.

Blowing Rock has many opportunities to admire the scenery and take pictures. There are many quaint shops and we loved the architecture of the buildings and homes. So many things to see in one trip. We will definitely visit again as soon as possible.

This is a nice place to visit with outlet shopping and plenty of dining options. It is 15 - 45 minutes to all 3 winter resorts that offer skiing, ice skating and snow tubing.

It is the gateway to the rest of the mountain towns in the area, such as Boone or Banner Elk. The Green Park Inn and Blowing Rock saves us 30-ish minutes both ways, making this a great one-night destination.
