Camp Hancock Tours

Overall we didn’t have a great experience, there were some good things about the hotel and some things that need improvement. Pros: -Pool was great for kids, not too deep and mostly clean. -Common spaces were mostly clean and tidy. -Front desk was super friendly and welcoming. -Room was large and had a nice, spacious shower. Cons: -We needed to use the pull out sofa bed and while the staff made it up nicely, it couldn’t be slept on. The mattress was so old and worn that the springs were literally sticking up against you when you tried to lay on it. It was beyond uncomfortable, and we ended up having to sleep three across in a queen sized bed (myself and two of my young kids). -The room was on the first floor and had nonstop noise. The hallways were noisy at all hours and we could hear everything in the room above us- loud stomping, loud voices, etc. It woke us up several times. -While mostly clean, the room was extremely worn out. Everything was old/broken (broken lampshades, patched holes in the walls, broken and dented box springs exposed, everything seemed shabby).

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and located close to everything we needed.
