“This IS an amazing place! It truly is like staying at a resort. It is clean. It is close to everything, yet tucked up in the woods so a family can feel off of the beaten path. There are grills and outside fire pits and a gym and a super nice playground. I am going back to Decorah in February….I cancelled my hotel reservations from another place to stay at this place. This place has the WOW factor!!!”

“it ended up just me the entire time and my step son two nights. i like as its two blocks from my grand sons. one has a bday on the 10 th he is 4 now so i had them come come over and we had cake and icecream . this to me means a lot to have a place to do this and see them thank you”

“We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners……

“A perfect place, centrally located, and lots to do in the Decorah area. The house had everything we needed, and it was very clean and comfortable. The hosts, Amy and Jackson, were very responsive, and check-in was effortless. I highly recommend this property. If you are adventurous, you can drive up to “Pikes Peak” State Park in McGregor, Iowa, with its breathtaking views of the Mississippi River. Or drive over to La Crosse, Wisconsin, for a paddle Boat ride on the Mississippi. There’s plenty to……
