"Room wasn’t clean/ dirty side tables. Check in is odd. 6pm check in and you pick up a phone and then staff come out to help. Turn on heat and it smelled like dust immediately. I didn’t have the nice floors in my room, but the carpet appeared pretty new. The view was 0 starts. My window opened to tire level of the parking lot. It was quiet, and the breakfast was as you would expect. Adequate for an unexpected stay. "

"The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are very unique. They have hardwood floors and excellent beds. The bar is great. The restaurant is very nice . Breakfast is a bit overpriced. The setting on the Mississippi River is beautiful. It is expensive but worth it."

"I understood that the hotel was being remodeled. The room we stayed in was worn; that’s ok. There was no excuse for the condition of the room—pretzels on the floor in the main room and dirt and hair on the floor in the bathroom. We will not stay here again."
