“It was our mistake that we booked in Peterson not Lanesboro. Nothing to do in Peterson except use the bike trail—so more time in the car than we wanted for restaurants, shops, and the theater. Everything was fine at the B and B, but nothing was fantastic. Clean and quiet, but the bed wasn’t super comfortable and the toilet ran incessantly (in a small room the noise starts to bother!). The breakfast was fine, the common rooms were fine, the big porch was fine. The owner wanted to make the stay……

“Staff was great on check in and check out. Breakfast was great. The room was just ok. It had a rigged up a/c unit in the main room that was hard to get cold air from the main into the bedroom. We were in room 201. I can't imagine the rest of the rooms were like that. Perhaps because we booked on Expedia? Who knows. The bedroom had a BO smell that seemed to say something needed to be changed. Bed, pillows, comforter, etc. Not sure which. Great location, great staff, great breakfast, time to……

“This brand might be our new go-to. The room was incredibly spacious, the bathroom was well appointed and the breakfast had amazing options. We even had time to enjoy the outdoor sitting area. We loved the full size fridge and the downtown LaCrosse location was perfect! Plenty of free parking in their on-site lot or overflow across the street in a parking garage.”

“Breakfast was ok Rooms were good. Our only problem was the TV would only show a national news program over and over again. This went on for 2 days.Received a discount but rather would have the TVfixed.”
