Enjoy some fun with all the family on a visit to Carousel Ice Skating Rink. Set in a hotel lobby, the Carousel Ice Skating Rink is a great alternative to the beach when visiting Ocean City. Pull on a pair of skates and glide around the rink and watch live shows, which take place durning the summer months.
All levels of skaters are welcome to use the rink. Bring your own skates or rent a pair from the shop and then show off your ability to onlookers. Walkers are also available and are ideal for children taking their first steps on the ice. Watch from the side as your children develop the confidence to move around the rink unaccompanied.
Visit between mid-June and September for free shows performed by professional figure skaters. Shows feature choreographed dances with a soundtrack of well-known pop music songs. Stand rink-side for the chance to interact and take in-show photographs with the costumed skaters. Rink-side dining is also possible by prior reservation.
Overlooking the rink, the atrium café is a cozy place to relax before and after your skating activities. Choose from a menu that includes coffees, smoothies and soft drinks in addition to confectionary, donuts, ice creams and pretzels. There’s also a small amusement arcade with games such as claw machines, Pac Man and pool.
Find the rink located inside the Carousel Hotel, in Midtown Ocean City. The Coastal Highway Beach Bus stops at the hotel as it travels to and from Downtown Ocean City. Drivers can park in the hotel parking lot. Nearby is Old Pro Golf, a safari and pirate-themed miniature golf course, and Northside Park recreation area.
