“Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre peu spacieuse mais confortable, salle de bain grande mais pas assez de tablettes pour déposer les effets personnels. Déjeuner style buffet copieux avec fruits frais et œufs fait sur demande. On a aimé la piscine, juste assez grande pour se rafraîchir et lire un peu. On a même eu la chance d’observer un paresseux de très proche grimper sur un arbre.”

“Es un lugar totalmente rústico. Para llegar, es necesario tomar una lancha. Sin embargo, está muy confortable, limpio y protegido. La comida que ofrecen es muy buena, el entorno es el lago, vegetación, y aves hermosas. Y lo mejor de todo, el trato del personal es excelente (Edgar, el barman, excepcional atención). Para ir al pueblo, también se toma taxi acuático. Toda una hermosa experiencia para relajarse en medio de la naturaleza”

“Although its located in a jungle, these are cabins. Windows does not have doors just a mesh, so if you are a light sleeper it gets really noisy. Receptionists not friendly”

“We discovered that we LOVE Casa Marbella, one of the highlights of our visit to Costa Rica this time! Family owned and run, one of the oldest hotels in Tortugero, the Casa Marbella staff provides friendly, expert, and excellent customer service (boat taxi pick up at the airport, guided tours by boat and in the preserve, etc.) The hotel is small, right on the river, and quiet. We loved staying here and definitely would go back.”

“The rooms were clean, bathroom was clean. Looks better than the photos to be honest. I used the laundry service and everything came back clean. Didnt have any issues. Security at night gaurding the door i would go back to visit. Only bad part was no food service besides breakfast from what i saw”

“It’s a very clean hotel and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. The rom that we had was a little small but we saw other rooms that were bigger so it was probably because they were full at the time so we received the small room. Other than that everything was good. ”

“The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, it was fee hot days when we were there and ceiling fan and separate fans were helpful. The……
