“We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Dover while attending a family event, and the location was very convenient. The staff was courteous and professional, and the bed was comfortable. However, the property felt dated and in need of upgrades. Our room had a musty smell, peeling paint on the bathroom door, and the showerhead and faucet showed signs of mildew and calcification. We ended up using Febreze and wiping down high-touch areas with Lysol wipes to feel more comfortable. Overall,……

“This was very small room for 4 people. The shower kept leaking water and the floor was completely soaked every time we showered. They made us switch rooms for our last night, which was larger but it was ground floor and the people upstairs were jumping and making loud noises late at night. Walls are paper thin, we could hear the guy next room wake up super early and sing out loud. Then someone came in our room, in the middle of the night, which woke me up and then I couldn’t fall back asleep as……

“The room is in need of an upgrade and repainting. Bedroom: only one nightstand. No TV but there was a connector for it (TV was in the other room). Needs more USB connectors. Bathroom: no storage place for personal bath items.”

“The hotel is in need of a reinvention. Everything looks worn. No flat screen televisions - still has old television sets with no streaming possibilities. Breakfast was poor with just wrapped pastries, eggs (with no protein), and waffles.”
