“The rental was beautiful!!! Property surrounded by redwoods, pine trees.. Very convenient location.. Did have difficulty getting in..Took 15 minutes or more, before we could get in. Maybe it was due to the later.. We arrived at 10:00 p.m.”

“Overall, excellent. We stayed 2 nights in winter. Roads were clear. A few other homes in sight but strong sense of privacy. Heating and cooking were good. Good tmobile data reception. Didnt try streaming. TV with DVD player and HDMI input. Driveway is between Bonnynook Rd intersection and american flag. Home is very clean and well equipped for your stay. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Top rating.”

“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

“We had a wonderful time getting away for a long weekend with family. The house is beautiful and is very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. The kitchen with large central island was a favorite for hanging out, eating and playing games. The kitchen is appointed with luxury appliances. “The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day.”
