“This is such a unique historic property. You literally step inside an 1850s Victorian mansion, fully furnished with pieces from that time period, but with modern amenities that make your stay comfortable. Breakfast outside was lovely. Georgetown is a small and charming town.”

“Georgetown Saloon and Hotel is on the upswing. You can tell that they are refurbishing and fixing and turning it into a modern version of the old fashioned saloon and Hotel. You are not going to meet a more helpful staff than the staff here. This hotel is in a town that is committed to local values and local quality. The whole town preserves its colorful history and struggling roots. This is reflected in the Hotel. Don't expect the Ritz. You are getting a clean, old fashioned room in the……

“There is hot water in the breakfast and it’s clean, everything is good.”

“The property is in need of repair and general maintenance. Housekeeping is marginal. Staff is marginal. A strange person staying there a few doors down from us was walking around out back near our car mumbling to himself and wouldn’t respond to us. Not a pleasant stay!!”

“I’ve been to this property twice now. This is motel off of the highway, but it’s grade separated so the road noise isn’t an issue. The property has free parking and WiFi. Upon entering the room there is newly added pine-looking cabinet, place to put luggage, and table. The bed is a bit lumpy, but still can sleep through it. In the winter time there is a hvac room unit but I didn’t use it. The sink is outside - retro color. I haven’t seen anywhere else with a stainless steel Kleenex box affixed……

“This cottage is homey, clean, convenient and perfect. We adored it. We booked it as a place to crash after a family wedding and were blown away by how charming and well appointed it is. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again if we were in the area.”

“It's not fancy it's rather sparce, but it has everything you need if you need an inexpensive place to stay for a night or two. I am a lone female traveler and felt safe. My only complaint was they didn't have a coffee maker in the room;not a deal-breaker, however the community coffee machine in the lobby wasn't working that morning .Things happen. There's a Starbucks across the street.”

“It is a great location and fun to stay there. Very convenient and wonderful to be able sit in the lobby to spend with friends. Would come back again and again.”

“Had good breakfast selection.”

“The cabin was nice. The ambiance was fun and the bed was comfortable. Some of the other guests weren’t so great (loose pit bull, drunk, hogging the outdoor amenities), but that wasn’t Miner’s Camp’s fault.”

“Clean room and friendly staff”

“No breakfast but their web site said they do. Room was clean . Parking good . Staff took long to respond to a request.”
