The room itself was clean and had a few dishes, cups, mugs, etc which was great. But I will say this property definitely uses either stock images or images from other locations because when I asked the front desk where the pool was they said they did not have one; even though there is a pool in the pictures in google. The rooms are very very outdated. The rooms also are not very sound proof I heard pounding and shouting pretty much every night for several hours from the room above mine. The key cards did not work well or really at all. As soon as I checked in and was given my key cards I went to use them for my room and mother key card worked. I went back to the front desk and instead of giving me new key cards the person just reassigned my room. This really didn’t fix the problem as even in the new room the key cards would work maybe 15%of the time on the first try. I usually had to reinsert the key card multiple times before being able to get into my room. When I brought this up to the front desk again they didn’t give me new key cards but assigned my room to the key cards again with the explanation that “the door thinks I’m a new person since the key card is multi use”. One day close to my departure the key cards stopped working again. The manager said it was due to my wallet having a RFID blocker. I’ve never had that issue with any other key card at other hotels. I honestly just don’t think this location is worth it for the price I was charged.

Stayed here for the Tyler Childers concert at Golden 1 Center. Delta king Hotel is great! It was fun to stay on a real boat in a boat cabin. Small and quaint, but a good time. Bathroom was clean. And even my husband said the bed was comfortable, that means a lot! Valet parking only but is was worth it as we were in Old Town Sac and 8 minute walk to the concert venue, even for this 63 yr old lady. The boat restaurant was charming except it was hot in there. Food looked good, will return to eat there in the future. We received 2 free drink vouchers at check -in, that was a nice surprise. We ordered and sat outside of the bar/restaurant as it was cooler outside. Also, the bar/restaurant is not real big so it held the late afternoon sun heat in. We would stay again. Oh! The ramp to access the boat was sturdy newly planked and an easy, smooth walk.
