"The Westin Hamburg might be the nicest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The rooms were outstanding with modern fixtures and very comfortable beds. The Westin is located the same building as Hamburg’s amazing Elbephilharmonie concert hall. A recommendation for guests: make a reservation in the bar on concert nights. Otherwise you will not be able to get a table and see the view of shipping traffic and lights along the Elbe River. "

"The hotel was absolutely lovely inside. Gorgeous artworks, modern and spacious lobby. The restaurant and bar was amazing and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great and the service too. Our room was simple and very clean, perfect for what we needed. The view was not too bad, the area its in looks run down, with derelict buildings and graffiti and sewage smells to one side amd a nice park and the river to another. I mean its close to a motorway and train station...good...

"This property is pretty good for the value. I really like the easy check-in and -out. It's a 15 minute metro bus ride from the Hamburg Central Station. And the bus stops right outside the hotel (a plus). I didn't find this inconvenient (this is coming from a person who likes to walk everywhere. FYI, it takes about 30 minutes to walk. "Lovely hotels with wonderful rooms and all the basic amenities. Would recommend staying as long as you like exercise because the key cards demagnetize if you look at them wrong — they must be praised and cajoled and need never be near anything that lets off the slightest electronic signal or you’ll be back downstairs to rekey the card yet again — 3 night stay and I think I had to do it about 8 times this trip. Staff is wonderful and lovely and the sushi is divine "

"The hotel is located a bit far from everything, but we were limited on a busy weekend. No real issues as far as a simple motel goes, but we didn't like sharing a bathroom (and that wasn't noted when we booked!) I'd return again if I had to, but I'd probably also pay a bit more and get something nicer next time. Also, the cleaning product they use is very strong and we had to leave the window open all night to keep from being overwhelmed by the detergent smell."
