“The room was decorated beautifully. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It had great full length mirrors if you wanted to do an outfit check before going out. There was a rooftop pool with a bar with music, it had a nice vibe. Wish I stayed more than one night. This hotel was close to the airport which is the reason why I chose it as I had a morning flight and I was staying on the other island of Gozo prior to this. I would definitely stay……

“2 out of 4 nights of my stay there were children in the indoor pool even though it was supposed to be 14+ only after 6pm. This was quite annoying. The jacuzzi was also not operational for the whole week I was there. Staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and an excellent location. Just slightly let down by things within their control.”

“For a five star hotel it was disappointing. First the positives… the pool, and pool area was wonderful and spacious. The buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. That’s where it ends. The check-in was terrible. The clerk didn’t even smile or offer us a welcome drink as other guests were given. Despite it being a VIP Expedia hotel we were not offered an upgrade. “We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for seven nights and had an excellent experience. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day without us ever needing to ask. Even on days when we stayed in the room later than usual, housekeeping made sure everything was spotless by the time we returned in the evening. The food was good. Although there were no halal meat options, we were still able to enjoy a variety of egg and vegetarian dishes. The amenities were also very good. The rooftop……

Most of the staff are welcoming and helpful. But the staff of cashier are a bit too cool to greet their guests. The dust on the cups in the minibar broke the image of its “blink blink cleanliness “. It’s good to live there for one day and try the breakfast buffet. But it is not suggested to live there for more……
