Heart's Desire Beach Tours

This hotel offers spacious, clean, no luxury rooms. However, the free parking and having a clean microwave and refrigerator and shower water pressure were awesome. It is in the Tenderloin area which was across the street from a rehab hotel/apartment. We didn’t feel comfortable going out walking at night due to the neighborhood. There was a security guard on duty which helped our sense of safety. The WiFi connection was horrible, not advisable if you’re expecting to have a stable connection.

Everyone is really nice that works here. The room fairly clean, nothing gross but worn out and could use an update. It’s secure and felt safe. It’s not frills and a place to sleep.

Pros: Location is great, walking distance to the Piers, restaurants, tour meeting points. Included breakfast is pretty good, long line, but goes fast. Breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice size room. Convenient store/snacks for purchase. Bell service staff was great as well. Cons: -Wifi was terribly slow, I gave up on it and used my own data. -Popcorn ceilings, you can hear every step above you, sounded like stomping, I was like what the heck! At first I thought maybe we were placed below the gym, but no. Other reviews mentioned that as well, our room number was 3637, try a different one if possible. You can also hear a lot of the outside noise, bumping music and loud cars. Amenities - No Lotion provided, please add this!
