“It was a lovely room in a converted barn which had 7 rooms I think. We had booked the most basic room but the bed was comfy, it was clean, it had a lovely bathroom, there was a TV with apps connected to their internet which worked well without any lagging (which happens often at hotels!) Breakfast was nice, a do it yourself continental with everything you could need. We had a meal in the pub and I have to say it was the best food we have had in a long time, the chef was on point and……

“Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again. ”

“A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!”

“Slightly quirky, very old cottage/stable. Very well appointed with clean, comfortable bedrooms, very well equipped kitchen which is large enough for several people to work in at any one time - ideal for groups of people. Quiet area with access to lovely garden. Welcome pack was much appreciated and great starter for the week.”

“Saying in the Annex was one of the best staycations we’ve ever had. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and our breakfast was top notch. We absolutely loved Pablo Eskabark and his little sister as our breakfast pals. Great location, beautiful annex. 10/10 would recommend! ”
