Tom, the host, was a real gentleman and couldn’t do enough to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It is above a pub so be mindful of that if you want early quiet nights.
The room was clean and sufficient. The shower was good, but dated but it worked well. There is parking."

The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old.
