“Fabulous room, very modern with TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer - in fact everything you could possibly need. Bathroom was a 'wet room' with a super shower. Breakfast was enormous with plenty of tea or coffee. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to assist. Well worth staying here if visiting the area.”

But when stayed in No 1 (McNeil) toilet you can get WiFi but you out of toilet you can’t have it! And when outside doorway about 8pm and early morning can’t see get a light on see where I am going!”

The bar and dining areas are overdue re-decoration, otherwise it would be a 5-star review, but hopefully we can drum up more customers so there will be money to spend. “Don’t often leave reviews but if you want a break from the Monday to Friday hotel life, this place is ideal. Was greeted as soon as I arrived and offered a choice of rooms. The room had a massive bed and a seating area, plenty of tea and coffee and was offered fresh milk which I accepted. Breakfast was made to order, had a beautifully presented fruit salad, followed by a great fry up made with quality ingredients. Even the WiFi was great ”

“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”
