Unique & Cozy A-Frame Retreat in the Hocking Hills

"We were very impressed by the cabin. I didn't realize that the floor plan was in a hexagon shape which is really cool. The builder made great use of space, including using a hidden door/bookcase to access the utility room. You couldn't hope to find a place more private, which made me appreciate the available Internet there even more. It's only a few minutes outside of Laurelville, and less than a 30 minute drive from any of the desirable locations around Hocking Hills.If I'm to find any kind of negative, which isn't much of one (some people may disagree with me), but I would have preferred a walk in shower over the claw foot tub. While it looks great, it's not great to shower in and there's a very nice hot tub outside to soak in. Again, not a big complaint, but I do try to be thorough. The suspended bed is interesting, but is also very comfortable. In fact, we felt that all the furniture there was very comfortable. We did use the grill, which is similar to what you'll find at a shelter in a park. We didn't use the fire pit however. There was quite a thunderstorm during the second night of our stay and it was a wonderful place to be for it, if you enjoy such things. We are already talking about staying there again in the future, perhaps during autumn months, since it's such a beautiful area already. The owners and cabin are great, as is the location. You really can't go wrong there."

"Great king size bed was very comfortable for me! There was a microwave and small refrigerator, desk and TV in the room. The curtains were thick to keep the light out in the morning and the air conditioner was easily adjusted and quiet! The bathroom had towels, soap and shampoo for use. Finding the Inn, checking in, checking out was all very easy. Parking lot accomodated my vehicle."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Hidden Meadows! The house is exactly as pictured, super clean, and very well stocked! There was plenty of room and then some for the adults and kids. We really enjoyed the game room and views from the deck. Tanya was an excellent host checking in shortly after arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the firewood on property available for purchase. The house is relatively close to all the trails and other fun activities like mini golf, markets and thrift shops. 10/10 would recommend and we hope to return again someday!"

The Mulberry

"We enjoyed our stay at The Mulberry. Even though the staff is not on the grounds, they will answer a short email very quickly They provide the door codes via text, The room was very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower & there is a small fridge in the room. The front lobby has plastic bags to put inside your room ice bucket, a large scoop to get ice from the ice machine, a pop & water vending machine. The front lobby also has coffee cups and a good selection of coffee. It’s located 12 miles outside of Hocking Hills State Park, which is where we went hiking during the day. I would recommend the Mulberry and I would stay here again if I was in the area"
