“The Leland Lodge is a step back to a quieter time. Beautiful grounds abutting a private golf course Make for quiet nights and peaceful views. The property is impeccably maintained-very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Leland is a picturesque town with good restaurants and access to loads of outdoor activities. There is a sandy beach on Lake Lelanau just a short walk from the lodge. I would definitely return for a longer stay in the future. My only complaint is I was surprised to……

“Whaleback Inn is one of the coziest places we have ever stayed. The Innkeepers, Ty and Rachel, could not have been more warm and welcoming. The rooms were immaculate, and the beds were super comfortable and well made – like a Tempurpedic! I t's a perfect home base for exploring all of the Leelanau Peninsula, with a beautiful view of Lake Leelanau. “What we liked was the location. To shops in town and restaurants. Things that should be improved. The lighting in the kitchen was horrid cobwebs around the lights. The water pressure taking a shower was not good. Since this is a dog friendly location. It would be best if the carpets were ripped up and just wood floor be put down. The carpet was dirty and covered up with a rug”

“What a wonderful stay in Suttons Bay. The home was a cosy cottage feel, it had everything we needed and plenty of living space. The location was perfect, easy to walk into town and close to hiking and biking trails. Fun shops to visit and great food. We definitely recommend!”
