I loved the old fashioned decor and the place was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice and there was flexibility within a time frame for when to be served. Just a heads up, there was a small sink in the room but the bathroom and shower was per floor and there was no TV if those are priorities for you. We didn't mind at all but others may find those two things a bit of a put off.

The innkeeper was attentive and the inn is centrally located, so it was easy to walk Glen Arbor and enjoy the area. This is a quaint older inn with grace and charm. The wrap-around porch was perfect for morning coffee and a great quiet cozy place to read a book, even when it was raining. Overall, a wonderful respite from our busy life.

Highly recommend for a stay in Glen Arbor. Great location - easy walk to anywhere in Glen Arbor. Facility is very quaint and well maintained. Staff is very attentive. Breakfast was very good (eggs benedict with fruit one morning). Communal dining which we really enjoyed - got to know the other guests. Plenty of parking. Great porch to sit on and watch the world go by, too! Will definitely stay here again the next time we plan a trip to Glen Arbor.

What a great little diamond in the heart of Glen Arbor, the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing every morning. The room had plenty of room (we chose a room with our own bathroom). We will definitely be back!

The room was nicely appointed. Well furnished. While all rooms are not the same, the room I occupied was large and had its own bathroom. The AC worked well. Guests and staff were friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. The water had an odd taste from the tap. The shower was challenging, as the shower head was too high and sprayed unevenly, making it difficult to rinse off soap and shampoo. It was quite and guests were well mannered. Check in was easy.

Great Location, Affordable, pleasant stay

This was a very nice two-night stay for us. This is a true "inn" from the yester-year so that made us feel at home (not pretentious). We stayed in one of the smaller rooms (offering two shared bathrooms between 4 bedrooms) so this review is based on one of those rooms. No TV but the internet worked GREAT and that was the main thing for us. The inn keeper and owner were very friendly and accommodating. Communication was perfect. Breakfast could be requested at various times during the morning, and both mornings were very satisfying. I don't think that our particular room had air conditioning, but it was perfectly fine for us. I only mention that because you might want to specifically ask about that first if you are booking a room in July or August. Perfect location for seeing Sleeping Bear Dunes. There are some nice places to eat and a grocery store just down the street as well. Very convenient.
