“We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. “This is my second stay here. I came back because of the nice breakfast and comfortable accommodations. This time, Betty at the front desk provided amazing service. The room was clean but weathered a bit with some signs of wear. The price is right and I felt safe staying here. This time there was not sausage and eggs as last time. I missed it. Otherwise, highly recommend as a convenient, affordable stop over. We will return again!”

“The checking was easy. I had prepaid for the stay. Miki was very helpful with my special needs accommodations. 1st floor, service animal. She was very nice and i enjoyed speaking with her. For me, simple is perfect. I needed very little. My room was efficient and was all i needed. The room was clean and bright. Nice bathroom and shower. Good water pressure and plenty of Hot water. My queen bed was comfortable. The sheets and pillow cases were clean and fresh. There was enough for space……
