“Great location for someone wanting to be close to Lake Natoma to paddleboard. It’s about 15-20 mins from the mall and the outdoor shops. It’s across the street from historic downtown Folsom. Shops close early but the restaurants and bars are open late. The hotel is old but it has charm. The rooms have always been clean when we stay and the house keeping staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cleaning ladies are always in a good mood and welcoming. There are other hotels a few miles away but……

“I’ve stayed here before. The check in was “here is your key”. Nothing about breakfast, etc. Seemed like employee did want to be there. First time this had happened. I know we all have bad days, but I’m sure you have a set protocol for check in conversation. Not that I won’t be back, convenient for airport, but it would be nice that someone appreciates my business.”
