Memorial d'Orient Tours

Our two night stay was great with an amazing parking space right in front. There was a great little grocery about a block away that was very handy. Only little disappointment was we never saw anyone from the property after initial checkin so no one to ask questions or advice. I believe they have two locations in town so that may be the reason.

The gentleman that checked us in was amazing. The room was less than what we expected. Needs freshened up. Lots of staining on walls,air conditioning not working properly and the washroom was small. We left a day early and did not stay out second night that was already prepaid. When we checked out we explained why we were leaving early(without requesting any refunds) I let the lady at the desk know that we drank 2 bottles of water from the mini bar. She expressed her sympathy for our discontent and acknowledged the property was in need of repairs and proceeded to charge us for the 2 bottles of water!! I guess customers satisfaction does not exist anymore. I was in customer service for many years in my younger days and I would have made a small gesture at that point and offered the water complimentary with an apology. It’s not the money it’s the loss of customer gratitude. The room was not cheap and we did not even ask for any monies in return and you still thought to charge for the waters!!!
