“Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!”

“Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. There was no one around in morning to find out about……

“We had a wonderful stay at this mountain cabin. It was well stocked, had linens, a nice selection of books, and, of course, access to a beautiful lake. The house was lovely with hardwoods everywhere. We would definitely stay again. The property is close to several towns so we were able to enjoy hikes, dinners out, and day trips. The driveway is extremely steep-my husband had to bring all the cars down as the other drivers were uncomfortable. There are many steps both to the house and to the……
