Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. Exceptionally clean!

This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity...

We had free hotels.com nights and were disappointed that the boutique hotel in town wouldn't accept them so we booked the hampton inn instead. I am so glad we did. This place is fabulous. Super cute hotel with only 6 rooms upstairs and a bar/coffee counter downstairs with excellent beer/wine and coffee options, a fancy pizza truck on site, and lovely outdoor areas at the front and back. We were in town for a mid-week concert and decided to try some place a little different. We could not have made a better decision. This really is a different kind of hotel experience. With only 14 rooms, each with its own layout and decor, and local artwork lining the halls, you can see that the owners put some thought into the renovation of this old building. as a traveler who feels one doesn't have to spend alot to get a good value if they do their homework, I found this facility to be top notch. Roomy, clean, quiet, friendly staff, and obvious that they take pride in how the place is presented. Delicious hot breakfast and 24 coffee. Have paid alot more and have gotten alot less so needless to say will be booking here in the future. BTW...pool looked inviting and a decent clean fitness room.
